All images printed by Dylan Gianna Photography use the highest quality processes and mediums available, with a high archivable life. To ascertain the best results, all images made available for print go through a testing phase which includes, trialing which paper type will be best suited to the individual photograph. As each paper type reproduces colours and tones slightly different, it is important to trial the image on more than one variation. The two types of paper I print on are Fuji Metallic Pearl and Fujiflex Super Gloss.

The Fuji Metallic Pearl paper contains pearl-like crystals which create a high gloss, metallic finish, with stunning clarity. The paper also features a special thin layer of metallic oxides which give a three-dimensional look and a metallic reflection.

Regarded as one of the highest quality photographic paper available, the Fujiflex super gloss produces unrivaled contrast and deep, rich colours. Although it is not technically paper, the thin plastic material creates a texture free surface, creating an almost mirror like finish.

In addition to unframed prints, Dylan Gianna photography offer a variety of options to suit your style and budget.

Used by galleries and museums the world over, acrylic face mounting offers unrivalled and uncompromised print encapsulation. The acrylic not only provides the print with greater UV protection and stability but, it also adds depth and enhances colour vibrancy. Using an optically clear film process, the print is face mounted onto a piece of 4.5mm thick museum grade acrylic and is mounted onto an black ABS or 3mm Di-Bond aluminium composite backer. An aluminium hanging rail is installed for even weight distribution which gives the appearance that the print is floating off the wall.

Not to be confused with the consumer variation of lamination, this is a commercial grade protective plastic seal that is added to the front of the print. This seal increases the prints resistance to humidity, scratches and stains. The print is then mounted onto a Di-Bond aluminium composite backer and comes with split batons for easy installation, which give the print the appearance that it is floating off the wall. Lamination is a cheaper alternative to acrylic face mounting and although it leaves the print with a high gloss finish, a small amount of the glossy smooth effect in the Fuji Flex paper is lost. Having said that, lamination has remained a very popular choice for many of my clients.

Using high quality, 100% cotton, these fine art canvas prints come ready to hang, and are the perfect addition to any space. The canvases are printed using archivable quality pigment inks, wrapped around a solid wood stretcher frame and finished with a protective varnish to reduce UV ray damage.

At Dylan Gianna Photography, we pride ourselves on making sure that the print you receive is what you envisaged. Selecting the right artwork has the power to transform a space.
